Demand Unit Numbers of Arc Welding Robot/Spot Welding Robot in 2018 (Calendar Year) in the World
Are Predicted To Become 32,820 Units (Up By 4.4 % Over the Previous Year) in Arc Welding Robots and 45,060 Units (Up by 6.5 % Over the Previous Year) in Spot Welding Robots Respectively
In the world welding industry, the introduction and dissemination of welding robots are increasing the degree of progress year after year due to a chronic lack of welding technicians, high efficiency of welding, securement of stable welding quality, high quality welding, etc.
Fig.1 shows the transition table of demand unit numbers of arc welding robots and spot welding robots in the world to see during nine years until 2018 (Forecast) since 2010 (Refer to pages (5) – (7) in Spring Issue 2018).
According to it, the demand unit number of arc welding robots recorded at 16,379 units in 2010, but continued to increase year after year to become 27,591 units in 2014 in four years recording a 68.5 % increase, and the prospect will mark 32,820 units (forecast) or so in the year 2018 after eight years, that means almost double of the demand unit number compared to that in 2010 level.
